Commissions Terms and Conditions

1. General

By commissioning artwork from me, you (“the Client”) agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

2. Commission Process

  • Commissions are accepted via [email / DM / website form].

  • A commission is only confirmed after payment (or deposit) is received.

  • I reserve the right to decline any commission request for any reason.

3. Payment

  • Payment is accepted via a payment link sent to you with an invoice for the deposit and balance If you are local we can arrange payment in cash and or bank transfer.

  • A non-refundable deposit is required before work begins.

  • No refunds are issued once work has started, except as outlined below.

4. Pricing & Fees

  • Prices are based on complexity, size, and usage.

  • Additional fees may apply for:

    • Extra characters

    • Complex backgrounds

    • Rush orders

    • Additional revisions beyond the included amount

5. Revisions

  • Revisions are included at the sketch stage.

  • Minor adjustments may be allowed at later stages at my discretion.

  • Major changes after approval may incur additional charges.

6. Timeline & Delivery

  • Estimated completion time: [timeframe].

  • Timelines may change due to illness, emergencies, or workload.

  • Final artwork will be delivered by Royal Mail special delivery unless otherwise agreed.

7. Usage Rights & Copyright

  • I retain full copyright to the artwork unless explicitly transferred in writing.

  • The Client receives personal-use rights only.

  • Personal use includes:

    • Displaying the artwork

    • Sharing on social media with credit

  • Commercial use (merchandise, resale, branding, NFTs, etc.) and is not permitted.

8. Artist Rights

  • I reserve the right to:

    • Display the artwork in my portfolio, website, and social media

    • Use the artwork for self-promotion

9. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Client cancellations:

    • Before work begins: refund of deposit

    • After work begins: no refund

  • Artist cancellations:

    • If I cannot complete the commission, or I feel that I have not fulfiled the comission particulars, a full or partial refund will be issued depending on progress, at my discretion. If I feel the work does meet the expected standards then the price agreed will be expected.

10. Chargebacks & Disputes

  • Chargebacks without communication may result in blacklisting from future commissions.

  • Please contact me first to resolve any issues.

11. Liability

  • I am not responsible for how the artwork is used beyond the agreed terms.

  • I am not liable for any damages arising from misuse of the artwork.

12. Agreement

By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
